- This is Bliss. She was born on April 18, 2008, weighing 7lbs 13oz. Bliss had a small mark on her face when she was born, we thought it was caused in the delivery. It wasn't. The mark is a Hemangioma. It is a collection of extra blood vessels that usually forms on the face. The Hemangioma was very scary looking at its worst, but at the moment it looks great!!! By the time Bliss starts school there should be no signs at all!! We are currently doing Propanolol treatments and they are working wonders. You can she the progression in the pics. I hope that any other family that may be in this same situation will benefit from reading this blog.
